Managing Your Q Source Web Orders: How to Track or Re-Order Orders
We continue our look at the features and benefits of having a QSource.com account, this time we're focusing on tracking your orders and accessing your recent Web orders.
The Track My Order section has a search field that allows you to enter an Order Number, Invoice Number, or PO Number and then search for related information by clicking the Track Order button.
In the example above, the PO Number 390106072 displays two results. The search returned the Order Date, Order Number, Invoice Number, PO Number, Amount, Carrier, and, if available, Tracking Number.
If you click on the Order Number, you'll see the Order Details screen below, which shows info such as Line Items, Pricing, Order Quantity, Invoice/Ship Quantity, Unit Price, Ship Instructions, PO Number, and Order Date.
This page also allows you to view related invoices (see #1 below), options to add items to your current cart (please note only Web items will be added), create a new cart, request ETA (expedite) for the order (see #2), or to cancel and return to the My Account screen.
At the My Account page, if the search is re-done and the Invoice Number is clicked, it brings you to the invoice associated with that order.
On the Invoice Details screen, you'll see the invoice and associated details and have the option to print it out, if needed.
On this screen, as on the Order Details screen, you have the option to re-order the items from that invoice.
The Recent Web Orders section displays Web orders for the last 7 days (you can change that default by clicking the drop-down menu). Details provided include the Order Date for the Web order, Cart Number, Order Number, and PO Number.
Clicking the Cart Number link, displays the Web site shopping cart information. This shows Order Information, Ship-to Information (if available), Line Items, Descriptions, Quantity in the Cart, Price, and Extended Price. You may choose to re-order this cart or request ETA (expedite) for this order.
If you return to the My Account page, and click on the Order Number, it brings you to the Order Details page.
On the Order Details page, you'll see the order's related information. Unlike the Cart Details page, this page includes a link to related invoices and their tracking numbers.
Also available on this page, is the option to re-order these items. If the Invoice Number is clicked, it brings you to the invoice page and allow you to print or view that document. If the Tracking Number is clicked, it brings you to the respective carrier Web site to show tracking information. In this example, if the Tracking Number is clicked, it will open the UPS Web site and show the information related to that Tracking Number.
