Hakko FT710-04 - Tip Cleaner w/A & B Style Collar - 2.8" x 3" x 4.2"

The Hakko FT710-04 Tip Cleaner w/A & B Style Collar is designed to quickly and effectively clean the working end of soldering iron tips. It has two counter-rotating brushes inside this cleaner that removes tip oxides, debris, and excess solder without damaging the tip plate and a minimum decrease in tip temperature. The FT710-04 is only activated when the tip is pressed into the holder iron specific collar (Collar type C is sold separately please see the accessories tab above or the specifications tab for iron compatibility). This iron specific collar provides accurate positioning of the tip for optimal cleaning while mitigating FOD potential from the splatter of the solder that is cleaned from the tip. The two different types of cleaning brushes control the amount of residual solder that remains on the tip as a coating to prevent further oxidation and an internal collection tray for easy removal and disposal of solder waste. This tip cleaner is activated only when the tip is pressed into holder and the tip cleaner can be mounted to existing FH-200 Series Iron Holders in the place of the sponge/tip cleaner tray.

Please note: This iron is included with an A & B Style collar, which excepts the Hakko FM-2024, FM-2028, FX-901, FX-8801, 900M, 907, 957, and 933 Soldering irons. For more specific details please see the specification tab.
