The Static Solutions FG-7020 Ohm-Stat Elastic Velcro Heel Grounder is specially designed to provide a continuous ground path between the user and a properly grounded ESD safe floor. The heel grounder is designed to drain the static charge of a user that is built up during normal activity. They offer instant static dissipation for rapid protection. The original patent holder designed the product.

Job functions that require worker mobility should use heel grounders. Failure to wear a heel grounder or ESD Shoe risks potential damage to the equipment that the user operates and the component parts they contact.
