The Metcal CVC-8CH0034S Chisel Soldering Cartridge uses patented chip-in-cartridge technology and has a chisel tip and temperature rating of 800°. The chip-in-cartridge technology has closed looped bi-directional communication that stores and records cartridge attributes. It provides traceability information and protects the power supply from non-conforming cartridges. This cartridge is backwards compatible with MX series power supplies.
