Metcal AC-STC - Solder Tip Cleaner

The Metcal AC-STC Solder Tip Cleaner is an ESD-Safe compact soldering iron cleaner that removes oxidation and extends the life of the soldering tip. Oxidation on the tip can cause the tip to degrade performance by creating a barrier that decreases thermal transfer of the heat to the solder joint. The Metcal AC-STC Solder Tip Cleaner has a quiet operation, AC power adapter, splash guard and replaceable brush system. These brushes pull excess solder away from the tip into the removable tray and are activated automatically when the tip is detected by this solder cleaner.
