The Puritan 803-WC Cotton Tipped Swab is a non-sterile applicator that has a regular cotton tip with a wood handle. The tip of this applicator is a soft absorbent high quality USP grade material. It's securely bonded to a rigid white birch material handle with an aqueous adhesive and is perfect for medical and industrial environments for task's like medication application, specimen collection, wound dressing and cleaning, applying salves, ointments, adhesives, or liquids, removing dirt, contamination, fluxes or resins, and cleaning with IPA or other solutions. The 803-WC polyester tip applicator is CE marked for medical use and meets FDA GMP's, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 13485:2003 standards (certificate of sterility and/or conformance is available with each shipment upon request).

The cotton tip is a pharmaceutical-grade spun cotton fiber, which is standard for applicators that are used in all applications from basic patient care to crime scene investigation. This material is soft, very absorbent and safe that performs consistently and reliably. Puritan Medical Products only purchases the finest grade USP cotton in bales and then cards the fiber to their specifications to assure consistent quality for the user's specific use.
