The Puritan 803-PC Cotton Tipped Swab is a non-sterile applicator that has a regular cotton tip with a plastic handle. The tip of this applicator is a soft absorbent high quality USP grade material. It's securely bonded to a semi-flexible polystyrene handle with an aqueous adhesive and is perfect for diagnostic, DNA, forensic, medical and veterinary environments for task's like wound care, application of topical dressings, cell and specimen collection and cosmetic and hotel amenities. The 803-PC polyester tip applicator is CE marked for medical use and meets FDA GMP's, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 13485:2003 standards (certificate of sterility and/or conformance is available with each shipment upon request).

The cotton tip is a pharmaceutical-grade spun cotton fiber, which is standard for applicators that are used in all applications from basic patient care to crime scene investigation. This material is soft, very absorbent and safe that performs consistently and reliably.
