The Puritan 709 Tongue Depressor is an standard size wooden blade that is made from Northern Maine white birch. This material has a high tensile strength and is naturally biodegradable with splinter free edges. The 709 non-sterile tongue blade is primarily used in oral patient care and examinations but can also be used in applications such as veterinary examinations, applying or mixing medicines, health and beauty, stirring, and applying epoxy or resins. It also meets the following standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003, FDA GMP's, and a certificate of compliance available with each shipment upon request.
