The Excelta 54-MW 3-Star High Precision Micro Angle Tipped Cutting Tweezers are made from high grade carbon steel and have an ESD-safe epoxy coated handle. It's designed for maximum visibility when working under magnification. Carbon steel was the first material used for watch making tweezers and give the tweezers flame-hardened tips that provide a long life but this material is highly magnetic and has low rust resistance. This material should not be used for autoclave sterilization.
