The Eclipse 400-026 8 LED CAT 5 Tester w/Remote checks continuity of shorted/open and crossed wire pairs and is powered by a 9V battery (not included). This unit has LEDs on both units to allow for one person testing. Coaxial cable tested for shorted or open shield as well as center conductor breaks.
