The Puritan 25-1607 1PF SC Macrofoam Tipped Swab is a sterile applicator that has a large macrofoam tip with a polypropylene handle. The tip of this applicator is an open cell macrofoam material that has excellent collection and release properties and validated in swab sampling protocols for the detection of bacillus antracis. It's attached to a white polypropylene handle that is scored at 1.59" from the head for easy head detachment, prominent thumb to indicate hand placement to ensure uniform pressure applied. It's perfect for critical, diagnostics, and medical environments for task's like environmental sample collection for microbial detection and decontamination. The 25-1607 1PF SC foam tip applicator meets FDA GMP's and ISO 13485:2003 standards (certificate of sterility and/or compliance available with each shipment upon request).

The Foam tip material is a medical-grade polyurethane foam that is produced in a sheet form in a range of porosity.
