The Excelta 00-PI 2-Star Straight Strong Point Tweezers are made from carbon steel and are fine precision tweezers that have medium tips with strong straight points. Carbon steel was the first material that was used for watch making tweezers and have flamed hardened tips that provide a longer life but are still highly magnetic and low rust resistant. This material should not be used in autoclave sterilization applications.

** The Excelta 2-Star line is when precision is required and price is a concern. The two star line will fill most requirements for consumer electronics.
