The Transforming Technologies CM1602 Dual Conductor Resistance Monitor is the most reliable workstation monitoring system that saves time by eliminating the time consuming testing of wrist straps and coil cords. This extremely sensitive monitor measures the electrical resistance of an ESD wrist band and work surface and signals if the devices fail. It features audible and visible alarms that are triggered if the operator’s resistance exceeds 35 meg ohm or if the surface exceeds 100 meg ohm. The Transforming Technologies CM1602 Dual Conductor Resistance Monitor has an ESD-safe conductive case and uses special dual wire wrist band sets that contain two independent ground paths, which provide fail-safe protection. This resistance based monitoring system works with the WB2800, WB2695, WB5000, and WB7000 Series wrist bands. This monitor can monitor 1 person/wrist strap and 1 work surface mat.
